Aditya has an undergraduate degree in Bioinformatics from SRM University, Chennai. He is currently learning new tools and techniques in genome-wide bioinformatics analysis and helping others in the analysis of data.
Binay Panda, Lab Head
Binay Panda is a Genome Scientist and has research, industry and entrepreneurial experience in India, USA, UK, and Japan. Binay studied, lived and worked in the UK, USA, and Japan before coming back to India to set up the Foundation where he currently serves as the Director. Binay has a Doctorate Degree from the University of Oxford, UK, received his Post-Doctoral training at the Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, California, USA with a Fellowship from the American Cancer Society and served as a Visiting Researcher of Genome Science at the University of Tokyo, Japan. Binay taught courses on Microarrays and Molecular Diagnostics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, USA extension. Binay champions the cause of open data sharing nationally and believes that open data will democratize science. Binay regularly speaks on biological big data in various national forums and writes popular science articles on the subject in national newspapers and online portals. Neeraja M Krishnan, Principal Computational Biologist
Neeraja has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai, Masters Degree in Systems Science and Biology from the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA, USA and Ph.D. in Biology from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai. She was a Centenary Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) before joining the lab. Neeraja is working on genome assembly and integrated analysis of data in cancer.
